Chuck Mardosz
Painter & Sculptor
Chuck Mardosz came to the United States from Poland in 1965 at the age of 14. Upon completion of his high school education, he enrolled at the American Academy of Art and continued his art education at the Art Institute of Chicago.
Now a resident of Colorado Springs, Chuck has been painting and sculpting professionally since the early eighties. Sculptures created by Chuck are formed in a classic, realistic style. In pursuit of artistic quality, Chuck devotes all his time to painting on location and in his studio. He paints in oil, watercolor, pastels and does charcoal drawings. His lush, representational style of painting follows in the rich tradition of American Art.
Chuck’s work appears in many private and corporate collections. He has been featured in many art publications including Southwest Art Magazine. He has participated in national and regional art exhibitions and has received numerous awards. He co-founded the Cottonwood Artists' School in Colorado Springs where he continues to teach art. He is currently represented in several galleries. Chuck's artwork ranges in price from $1,000 to $25,000.
